Kangol Kid of UTFO
Kangol Kid is a member of the pioneering rap group UTFO. Their hit single "Roxanne, Roxanne" was one of the first rap songs that I could recite word for word. I captured this image of Kangol on the streets of Manhattan in 2009.

I captured this self-portrait today at the Pharoahe Monch album cover photo shoot. I was using the Leica M9 to photograph Pharoahe, while using the Canon 5D MKII to capture us both.
